Participants will be able to

  • Identify 2 core principles of Somatic Experiential Play Therapy

  • Increase understanding of the autonomic nervous system and how it responds to trauma 

  • Explain the connection between trauma and the incomplete fight/flight/freeze responses

  • Identify 2 ways to invite, support, and facilitate appropriate fight or flight response in play therapy with children
